Zabbar St. Patrick claimed another three important points as they defeated Melita 1-0 in a match from the 360 Sports Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 at the National Stadium on Saturday.
A win which puts them two points ahead of Naxxar Lions and four ahead of Balzan although the latter two have a game in hand.
The Saints scored the all-important goal on 90 minutes as Vinicius De Paiva slotted the ball past goalkeeper Aleksander Lubik from close range.
To make matters worse for Melita, four minutes in added time, Aldair Simanca was sent off.
