Naxxar Lions moved three points clear of Balzan in the 360Sports Malta Premier Opening Round Bottom 6 as they earned a point in a 1-1 draw with Marsaxlokk at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.
In match-day 15, the Lions face Balzan while Zabbar cross swords with Melita with the three teams still facing the possibility of finishing in the bottom two places along with Balzan.
Following a goalless first half, Kayne Haber put Naxxar ahead ten minutes in the second half but Jai Quitongo equalised eight minutes later.
