Five players were suspended after the weekend’s matches from the 360Sports Malta Premier.

Marcelo Dias (Gzira) was banned for two matches while Alessandro Coppola (Birkirkara), Zachary Scerri (Gzira), Aldair Simanca (Melita) and Fernando Barbosa (Naxxar) were all banned for one match.

Murilo Freire (Sliema) was banned for one match following the BOV Super Cup.

In the BOV Challenge League, Emmanuel Bio (Pieta’) was handed a three-match ban while Leon Muscat (Lija), Jamie Nicholl (Santa Lucia), Steve Meilak (Senglea), Omar Elouni (St. Andrews), Ryan Cutajar (Tarxien) and Owen Sciberras (Zebbug) were all suspended for one match.

In the IZIBET Amateur League 1, Luca Martinelli (Attard), David King Joachim (Kirkop), James Oghenekewaro (Marsaskala) and John Montano (Pembroke) were all banned for one match while Kurt Zahra (St. George’s) was suspended for one match in the IZIBET Amateur League 2.

Siggiewi official Jake Azzopardi was also banned for one match.
