Gzira United secured the services of Serbian twenty one year old goalkeeper Marko Ćopić.

A product of Red Star Belgrade, he had spells on loan with Graficar Belgrad, Radnicki Sombor and FK Torlak Kumodraz but last summer, he joined FK Sloboda Novi Grad in Republika Srpska, Bosnia and Herzegovina

The Maroons have earlier released goalkeeper Darijan Zarkov while Jurgen Pisani and Lecao will be joining Zabbar St. Patrick on loan and Birkirkara respectively. Christian Ebisindor Saint, on the other hand returned with Mgarr United.
