Birkirkara FC signed French twenty five year old midfielder Donovan Stéphane Makoma.

A product of RC Lens, Makoma was on the books of Barrow, Stevenage, Woking, Biggleswade Town and Wingate in England before moving back to France to join Arras. He had a spell with UE Santa Coloma in Andorra and then played for FC Cosmos and FC Karbach in Germany.

Birkirkara had earlier secured the services of Lecao.
