Eight Premier League players suspended

Eight Premier League players were suspended by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches.

Henri Braham Stanic (Balzan) was banned for three matches while Rafael Floro (Balzan), Manuel Morello (Birkirkara), Carlo Zammit Lonardelli (Floriana), Miullen and Higor Gabriel (Hibernians), Jake Ghio (Marsaxlokk) and Degran Jackson (Naxxar) were handed a one-match ban.

Floriana official Manolito Micallef and Hibernians official Jesmond Abela were suspended for one match.

In the Challenge League, Adam Bradshaw (Santa Lucia) was handed a two-match ban while Samuel Boakye and Kwasi Donsu (Mgarr), Daneel Abela (Pieta’), Steven Meilak (Senglea), Marcelo Dias and Michael Johnson (St. Andrews) and Lenny Mattocks (Swieqi) were all banned for one match.

Pieta’ official Sheldon Grech was banned for two matches.

In the Amateur League 1, Andrew Sant and Kyle Sciberras Balbi (Pembroke), John Mintoff (San Gwann) and Loumar Cutajar (Xghajra) were banned for one match.

Birzebbuga official John Paul Barbara was suspended for one year and Msida coach Paul Bugeja was banned for one match.

Andre Joe Cutajar (Mqabba) and Kurt Zahra (St. George’s) were suspended for one match in the Amateur League 2.
