Five Premier League players were suspended by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following the weekend’s matches from the 360Sports Malta Premier.
Nikola Disic (Gzira) was banned for three matches while Kurt Zammit (Gzira), Gareth Barone and Kurt Bondin (Melita), Geoffrey Acheampong (Sliema) and Djordje Jovicic (Zabbar) were banned for one match.
In the BOV Challenge League, Iury De Carvalho Lima (Lija) was handed a three-match ban while Adolphs Nagbe Marshall (Fgura), Andrea Mizzi (Gudja), Lydon Micallef (Marsa), Joseph Chilaka Agbakwuru (Mtarfa), Jamie Sixsmith (Santa Lucia), Trezeguet Zammit (Sirens), Elizeu Espirito Santos da Conceicao and Rodolfo Soares (St. Andrews) and Leo Agius (Zebbug) were banned for one match.
Marsa official Ayrton Bonnici was suspended for four matches.
Christopher Galea and Paolo Zammit (Marsaskala), Michael Camilleri (Mellieha), Miguel Vella (Rabat), Aaron Sammut (Vittoriosa) and Miguel Galea (Xghajra) were suspended for one match in the IZIBET Amateur League 1. Vittoriosa official Marco Gauci was banned for two matches. On the other hand, in the IZIBET Amateur League 2, Brian Borg and Ronaldinho Daley (Dingli) and Emmanuel Cutajar (Ghaxaq) were handed a one-match ban.
