Hibernians came back from a goal down as they defeated Gzira United 4-1 in a match from the 360 Sports Malta Premier Closing Round at the National Stadium on Saturday.
The Paolites join Birkirkara and Marsaxlokk on top the 360Sports Malta Premier table, leaving the Maroons joint-third from bottom.
Gzira had Luis Riascos sent off eight minutes from the end of the first half after hitting Apostolis Martinis.
However, one minute from the end of the first half, they were awarded a penalty after Pedrao brought Brooklyn Borg down inside the area and Faysal Chouaib converted.
Hibs equalised five minutes in the second half thanks to a low shot by Khevin Fraga from outside the area which was not held by goalkeeper Cain Formosa.
Three minutes later, Hibs doubled the score courtesy of Lucas Villela who beat Formosa with an angled shot from the left when served by Degabriele.
Hibernians made it 3-1 on 71 minutes thanks to a fine header by Bjorn Kristensen off a corner from the left and seven minutes later, substitute Rui Bruno added another hitting home from close range off another corner from the left.
