The draws for the second phase of the IZIBET Amateur League 1 – the Top 6 and the Play-Out – were held on Monday.
San Gwann, Vittoriosa, Birzebbuga, Luqa, Xghajra and Attard will be playing in the Top 6 while Qrendi, Qormi, Zejtun, Mellieha, Kirkop, Marsaskala, Pembroke, Gharghur, Rabat and Msida will take part in the Play-Out.
In the Top 6, San Gwann lead the way with 38 points, followed by Vittoriosa on 36, Birzebbuga St. Peter’s 33, Luqa St. Andrew’s 31, Xghajra Tornados 30 and Attard 27.
In the Play-Out, Qrendi will start with 24 points, followed by Qormi on 22, Zejtun Corinthians 19, Mellieha 17, Kirkop United 16, Marsaskala 15, Pembroke Athleta 13, Gharghur 10, Rabat Ajax 6 and Msida St. Joseph 4.
The top two teams in the Top 6 will be promoted to the Challenge League while the bottom four teams in the Play-Out will be relegated to the Amateur League 2.
The first matchday of the Top 6 Group will be played during the weekend of the 28th February to 2nd March. On the other hand, the first matchday of the Play-Out Group will take place this weekend.
