Valletta joined Lija Athletic, Marsa, Mgarr United, Pieta’ Hotspurs, Santa Lucia, Tarxien Rainbows and Zurrieq in the quarter-finals of the BOV Challenge Cup after defeating Senglea Athletic in the last match from the Round of 16 at the Centenary Stadium on Wednesday.
Andrei Ciolacu scored the all-important goal as he converted a penalty on 62 minutes.
