After defeating Zabbar St. Patrick last week, Gzira United earned another three precious points in their bid to steer away from the danger zone as they came from behind to beat Hibernians 2-1 at the National Stadium on Saturday.

The Maroons now lie just one point behind the Paolites, six points ahead of Naxxar Lions and nine ahead of Melita.

Jurgen Degabriele put Hibernians ahead on 13 minutes but fourteen minutes from time, Luis RIascos levelled matters.

One minute in added time, Gabriel Bohrer Mentz notched the winner.
