Marsaxlokk regain top spot

Marsaxlokk moved back on top the 360Sports Malta Premier table as they came from behind to beat leaders Sliema Wanderers 2-1 at the National Stadium on Saturday.

The Southseasiders now lead the way with 25 points, followed by Sliema on 24, Hamrun 23, Floriana and Birkirkara 22 but Hamrun and Floriana have a game in hand and will be facing each other on Monday.

For the Wanderers, this was the first defeat after five wins on the trot.
