IZIBET Amateur League 2 Champions Victoria Hotspurs completed the double as they defeated IZIBET Amateur League 1 side Qrendi 2-1 in the final of the BOV Amateur Cup at the Centenary Stadium on Sunday.

Shaun Attard put the Hotspurs eight minutes in the second half but ten minutes later, Ayesller Carvalho levelled matters. However, Wellington notched the winner for Victoria Hotspurs on 65 minutes.

After the game, the Hotspurs were presented with the cup by Malta FA Vice President Dr Matthew Paris and BOV Chief Operations Officer of BOV Ernest Agius.
