Ħamrun Futsal NCMB won the Enemed Challenger Cup when they defeated Marsaskala Legends Futsal 2-1 in an evenly contested match.

The Ħamrun side, in their first year competing in local futsal, scored a goal in each half with Marsaskala reducing the gap a minute from time.

It was Collin Sammut who put Ħamrun ahead and in the second half Sebastian David Jimenez made it 2-0.

A minute from the end of the game, Dale Valletta scored Marsaskala’s goal.

At the end of the match, Futsal Malta Association president Mark Borg presented the cup to Ħamrun captain Gia Nikvashvili.
