The potential opponents for 360Sports Malta Premier champions Hamrun Spartans in the 2025/26 UEFA Champions League first qualifying round and for runners-up Birkirkara and third-placed Floriana in the UEFA Conference League first qualifying round were confirmed on Tuesday morning ahead of the draw which will be held in the afternoon at the House of European Football in Nyon, Switzerland.

In the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round, Hamrun Spartans are unseeded and were placed in Group 1 and will be facing one team among Malmö FF (SWE), FK Žalgiris (LTU), FC RFS (LVA), KuPS Kuopio (FIN) and The New Saints FC (WAL)

First qualifying round matches are scheduled for 8/9 and 15/16 July 2025.

On the other hand, in the UEFA Conference League, Floriana, who are seeded, were placed in Group 5 and will be facing one team among Cliftonville FC (NIR), FC Malisheva (KOS), Nõmme Kalju FC (EST) and Haverfordwest County AFC (WAL).

Birkirkara, on the other hand, are unseeded and were placed in Group 2 and will be facing one team among FC Petrocub (MDA), FC Ordabasy (KAZ), FK Dečić (MNE) andFC Urartu (ARM).

First qualifying round matches will be played on 10 and 17 July 2025

Meanwhile Hibernians will enter the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League. The draws will be held on Wednesday.
