Floriana FC signed Brazilian thirty-one year old goalkeeper Guilherme Cioletti Ferreira da Silva.

Guilherme Cioletti, who also holds an Italian passport, was on the books of Prudente, Minas Boca and Jaguariuna in Brazil before moving to Portugal to join Atlético dos Arcos in Portugal. He had a spell with FK Jonava in Lithuania before moving again to Portugal where he played for AD Limianos, SC Vianense and Lusitânia FC Lourosa.

The Greens, who had earlier appointed Daniel Portela as their new coach, had signed Federico Varela, Iago Mendonca and Rui Areias while goalkeeper Christoffer Mafoumbi, Franklin Sasere, Guy Serge Yameogo, Matias Garcia, Oualid El Hasni, Jork Becerra, Alexandros Kouros, Gabriel Sotomayor and Elvis Mashike moved elsewhere.
