UEFA Champions League second qualifying round: winner of Žalgiris/Hamrun to face Dynamo Kyiv

Should they eliminate FK Žalgiris from the first qualifying round, Hamrun Spartans will be facing FC Dynamo Kyiv of Ukraine in the UEFA Champions League second qualifying round. The draw was held at the House of European Football in Nyon on Wednesday.

Second qualifying round matches will be played on 22/23 and 29/30 July 2025 with Hamrun or Žalgiris hosting the first leg.

Dynamo Kyiv, who recently signed Colombian forward Angel Torres, who used to play for Balzan, won a record of 17 Ukrainian Premier League titles and thirteen Ukrainian Cups and earlier, thirteen Soviet Top League championships and nine Soviet Cups. They won the UEFA Cup Winners Cup in 1975 and 1986 and the UEFA Super Cup in 1975.
