Tarxien Rainbows FC secured the services of twenty one year old goalkeeper Miguel Juan Spiteri.

A product of San Gwann, Mosta and Triangle D’Or Jura Foot in France, Spiteri had spells with CD Leganes and Getafe CF in Spain and following a year with Birkirkara with FC Cartagena once again in Spain. On his return, he joined San Gwann and eventually Tarxien, Luqa St. Andrew’s, Santa Lucia and Sirens.

Tarxien had earlier confirmed coach Jacques Scerri and two players who had formed part of last season’s squad, Miguel D’Alessandro and Sheldon Mizzi.
