Hamrun Spartans were the last team to secure a spot in the Malta FA Jubilee Cup quarter-finals after defeating Floriana 2-0 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Saturday.
The Spartans managed to take the lead on 28 minutes when Merlin Hadzi, served by Matias Garcia on the right had a cross deflected by Lucas Lopez past goalkeeper Picon for an own goal.
Six minutes from time, Hamrun doubled the score courtesy of Joseph Mbong who entered the area before hitting past the Floriana custodian.
In the next round, the Spartans will be facing Valletta.

Matches are expected to be played on November 29/30 with the semi-finals scheduled four days later. The final will be played on December 8.
