Mosta opened wide the battle to avoid one of the bottom two places in the YoHealth Malta Premier Closing Round Bottom 6 at the Tony Bezzina Stadium on Wednesday. 

The Blues still ie at the bottom of the table but now move to just two points behind Tarxien and Zabbar and four behind Hibernians. For the Saints, this was the second defeat in as many matches.

Prince Chibuzor Emmanuel put Mosta ahead just before the end of the first half. 

Zabbar thought they had rescued a point as two minutes in added time, Mario Fontanella levelled matters but five minutes in added time, Azer Kozic notched the winner for Mosta.
