Valletta FC midfielder Jake Azzopardi has been named LifeStar Insurance Most Valuable Player for March.

Azzoaprdi produced outstanding performances throughout the month, playing a key role in Valletta’s 3-1 win over Tarxien Rainbows and the crucial 1-1 draw against Marsaxlokk.

A result that firmly enhanced Valletta’s chances of securing European qualification next season, through the standings accumulator mechanism.

The MVP trophy was presented to Jake Azzopardi on Wednesday, ahead of the Naxxar Lions fixture, by LifeStar Insurance senior official Jonathan Camilleri.
