Birkirkara submit plans for commercialisation of Infetti training grounds

Birkirkara FC announced that President, Mr. Michael Valenzia, has formally submitted an application with SportMalta and the Sports Commercialisation Board to transform the Infetti Training Centre into a commercial project.

This initiative represents a significant milestone in the Club’s long-term strategy and reflects the President’s vision of building a financially sustainable and forward-looking institution. The proposed development is intended to strengthen the Club’s economic foundations, ensuring that Birkirkara FC continues to operate at the highest standards both on and off the pitch.

Commenting on the development, President Michael Valenzia stated: “This marks a significant milestone in the future of the Club. I would like to express my sincere gratitude to our committee members, who have worked tirelessly over the past two years to bring us to this stage.

I also extend my thanks to all those involved in what has been a thorough and highly demanding process. We now look ahead to the feedback from the relevant authorities regarding our application, which we firmly believe will be transformative for the Club’s long-term sustainability and growth.

This project has been at the heart of our administration’s vision since day one, and reaching this point is a moment of great importance for everyone connected to Birkirkara Football Club.”

The project is also aligned with the evolving requirements of UEFA, particularly in relation to financial sustainability and club licensing regulations, which continue to become more stringent year after year. By taking proactive steps in this direction, the Club aims to remain compliant while positioning itself for long-term growth and stability.
