Zero Sei Futsal won the Enemed Trophy final 4-1 after a dominant performance against Swieqi, controlling possession for large parts of the match.
From the outset, Zero Sei were the more dangerous side, keeping the ball and building their attacks with patience and control. Swieqi, on the other hand, defended well and remained well-organized, especially during periods of sustained pressure.
Zero Sei opened the scoring through Honorio Carneiro shortly before the end of the first half, while Cassia doubled the lead with an excellent free kick.
Swieqi had their best moment when they managed to score through Paula Reino, at a time when they looked capable of getting back into the game. However, just as they were at their strongest, a defensive mistake allowed Zero Sei to score their third and fourth goals through Robles and Honorio Carneiro, effectively ending any hopes of a comeback.
At the end of the match, Vice President Nathaniel Jones presented the trophy to Zero Sei Futsal captain Espinel Bautista, in a ceremony celebrating a well-deserved victory.
