Malta Under-21 National Team Coach Davide Mazzotta has named a 22-player final squad ahead of the upcoming international friendly away to Moldova.
The Malta U21 National Team has been undergoing a training camp, with Mazzotta and his coaching staff assessing the squad with the domestic season now concluded.
Malta will have an international friendly match on foreign soil against Moldova as part of this training camp. The encounter will take place on 4th June 2026 at the Municipality Stadium in Orhei, Moldova, with kick-off for the match being at 18:00hrs CET.
This clash will serve as the perfect opportunity for the team to continue gaining further international experience. Mazzotta had originally selected a 31-player squad, but it has now been trimmed down to 22 players. The call-up features a combination of players who play for domestic clubs, as well as a number of players who play for clubs abroad.
