Draws for first qualifying round of UEFA club competitions to be held on Tuesday

Champions Floriana, runners-up Marsaxlokk and third-placed Hamrun Spartans will know their opponents in the first qualifying round as the draws of the UEFA Champions League and UEFA Conference League will be held on Tuesday afternoon.

Floriana are unseeded in the UEFA Champions League first qualifying round and would therefore meet one team among Shamrock Rovers, KuPS Kuopio, FC Drita, Lincoln Red Imps, FK Borac Banja Luka, Vikingur Reykjavik, Kairat Almaty, Universitatea Craiova, Riga FC, KI Klaksvik, Flora Tallinn, Larne FC, Petrocub Hîncesti and The New Saints.

Hamrun Spartans are seeded in the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League and would therefore face one of the unseeded sides, namely Velez Mostar, AC Virtus, FK Liepaja, Ilves Tampere, UE Santa Coloma, Connah’s Quay, Bohemians Dublin, Stjarnan FC, Europa FC, Inter Turku, KF Malisheva, FK Yelimay, Dinamo Tirana, UNA Strassen, FC Hegelmann, Penybont, NSI Runavik, Sileks Kratovo, Mornar Bar, Glentoran, Kalju Nomme, AF Elbasani, Caernarfon Town, US Mondorf-les-Bains and OFK Petrovac.

Marsaxlokk, on the other hand, are unseeded and would meet one of the seeded sides, namely RFS Riga, FK Astana, Zalgiris Vilnius, Shkendija Tetovo, FC Ballkani, Pyunik Yerevan, Linfield Belfast, Milsami Orhei, Levadia Tallinn, Paide Linnameeskond, Differdange 03, Dinamo Minsk, Vllaznia Shkodër, Neftchi Baku, Víkingur, La Fiorita, Decic Tuzi, Dila Gori, BATE Borisov, FK Sarajevo, Atlètic Club d’Escaldes, St Joseph’s FC, Dinamo Tbilisi, Alashkert FC and Torpedo Kutaisi.

Valletta, on the other hand, enter the second qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League – the draws for which will be held on Wednesday.

The UEFA Champions League first qualifying round will be played on July 7/8 and 14/15 while the first qualifying round of the UEFA Conference League will be played on July 9 and 16.
