Six players were handed a one-match ban by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following match day 7 of the VBET Malta Premier.

The players are Juan Bolanos and Alex Bruno (Birzebbuga), Albion Pllana (Gzira), Giancarlo Goncalves (Mosta), Teddy Teuma (Sliema) and Petar Sekulovic (Valletta). 

Birzebbuga official John Paul Barbara was also banned for one match.

In the BOV Challenge League, Jake Farrugia (Pieta;) was suspended for three matches.

On the other hand, Omar Khatib (Lija) and Codie Dullard (San Gwann) were banned for one match in the BOV National League I while Andrei Spiteri (Ta’ Xbiex) and Ghaxaq official Johann Zammit were banned for one match in the BOV National League II.
