Six players from the YoHealth Malta Premier were handed a one-match ban by the Malta FA Disciplinary Commissioner following match-day 30.
The players are Guilherme Cioletti and Iago Mendonca (Floriana), Gabriel Mentz (Gzira), Domantas Simkus (Marsaxlokk), Sava Radic (Valletta) and Petar Panic (Tarxien).
Tarxien coach Jacques Scerri was also banned for one match.
In the BOV Challenge League, Randall Vella (Birzebbuga), Nick Cutajar (Melita), Salam Kojo Mawuena (Swieqi), Gabriel Cruz (Marsa) and Bahri Hannan (Santa Lucia) were suspended for one match.
Iven Zammit (Mellieha) and Kurt Borg (Victoria) were banned for three matches in the BOV Amateur League I while Paul Galea Testaferrata (Attard), Ismael Borg (Mellieha), Carmelo Farrugia and Brandon Micallef (Mqabba) and Gonzalo Virano (San Gwann) were suspended for one match. Zejtun official Kurt Spagnol was also banned for one match.
Meanwhile Giuseppe Barone (Gharghur) was suspended for four matches in the BOV Amateur League II while John Montano (Gharghur), Matthew Borg (Mdina), Owen Galea (St. George’s) and Matthew Buhagiar (Ta’ Xbiex) were banned for one match.
