Valletta secured a spot in the Final Four of the YoHealth Malta Premier as they defeated Hamrun Spartans 2-1 at the National Stadium in the last match from the Closing Round Top 6 at the National Stadium on Saturday.

Thanks to their win, Hamrun failed to take second place which went to Marsaxlokk with the Citizens claiming the fourth spot in the Final Four thanks to the third best record in the accumulated table of the league phases of the Opening Round and Closing Round. 

In the Final Four, Valletta will be facing Closing Round winners Floriana while Hamrun Spartans, as winners of the Opening Round, will be facing Marsaxlokk.

Following a goalless first half, Jackson Mendoza put Valletta ahead on 54 minutes. Rafael Compri equalised four minutes later but seven minutes from time, Ahmed Adebayo notched the winner for Valletta.
