The Malta Football Association announced that the National League 100 Anniversary Cup third clash between Valletta and Gozo has been postponed.
The match was originally scheduled for November 9 but was then shifted to November 25 due the Malta Under-21 national team commitments against Slovenia. However with the BOV Premier League match between Valletta and Tarxien Rainbows being shifted to November 24, the game was postponed to December 2.
However on that day, the Malta Under-23 national team hosts Italy in the first match from the International Challenge Trophy. A number of Valletta players are part of the squad and therefore the Valletta-Gozo game had to be postponed once again.
A new date is yet to be announced.
However with fourth round matches due to be played on December 5 and 6, this means that the fourth round clash between Vittoriosa Stars and the winner of the clash between Valletta and Gozo cannot be played during that weekend.
