Two Premier League players suspended

Two Premier League players were handed a one-match ban after collecting a fourth yellow card during the weekend.
The two players are Dingli Swallows midfielder Roderick Spiteri and Floriana’s Orosco Anonam. Spiteri is ruled out of the game against Qormi on Friday while Anonam, together with Julian Briffa who was sent off in the game against Hibs, will be missing the clash with Sliema Wanderers.
In Division 1, Neil Curmi (San Gwann) was banned for one game while Daniel Borg (Gharghur) and Anthony Lagana (Zebbug) were suspended for one game in Division 2. St. Andrews team manager Chris Montford was handed a two-match ban.
Mgarr’s Mark Abela was suspended for one game in Division 3.
Edson Fenech and Tyrone Pace (Dingli), Darren Vella (Lija), Justin Pace (Marsaxlokk), Christian Calleja and Neil Farrugia (Rabat) were all banned for one match in the Youth League.
