First Division side Mqabba FC sacked coach Mr. Borislav Giorev following a run of negative results.

On Saturday, they lost 1-3 to Pieta Hotspurs. A defeat which leaves the club second from bottom on five points together with the Hotspurs, one ahead of San Gwann.

In a statement, the club thanked Giorev for his work towards the club over the past two years.
