One-year ban for Terence Scerri

Valletta striker Terence Scerri was handed a one-year ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following incidents at the end of the U*BET FA Trophy final against Floriana on Sunday.

Scerri, who was reported for hitting an opponent and for passing on remarks to the referee on the way to the tunnel, was suspended until May 24, 2012. He was also handed a five-match ban.

Valletta midfielder Jamie Pace was also suspended for three matches following the same incident.
