Sheffield United ended their two match tour of Malta with a hard-fought 2-1 win over Hibernians at the Hibs Stadium on Wednesday.

Malta international striker Daniel Bogdanovic put the Blades ahead but a few minutes later, Edison Luis Dos Santos was brought down inside the area by Harry Maguire and the same Brazilian striker converted from the penalty spot.

In the second half, substitute David McAllister notched the winner for the Blades.

Hibernians had Brazilians Diego Douglas Balbinot, Marcelo Mariano Dias and Edison Luis Dos Santos, all included in their starting line-up.

The Paolites will now host the Hibernians Sigma Paints Pre-Season Tournament, starting next week. The programme of matches is as follows:
