Beach Boys and Rio Girls won the men’s and women’s competitions in the Heineken Beach Soccer League 2012 after defeating Benjamin and Pembroke respectively in Sunday’s finals at the Pembroke Beach Soccer Stadium.

In the Men’s League, Beach Boys defeated Benjamin on penalties after the game finished 3-3 even after three minutes of extra time. There was perfect equilibrium between the two teams, both sides boasting quality players and good technique.

In the Ladies Final, Rio Girls beat Pembroke in a game of friendly atmosphere where the girls showed some good skills.
