€8,000 were raised during the fourth edition of Gowl għall-Istrina organised by Net TV’s Replay, One TV’s l-Argument together with the Malta Football Association in aid of l-Istrina which was held on Wednesday at the Centenary Stadium.

This year’s event took the form a quadrangular tournament between four teams: one representing Maltese players and another representing foreign players from the BOV Premier League, a team made up of players from the BOV First Division and another team made up of players from the BOV Second Division and the BOV Third Division.

Part of the funds were collected during an auction of the autographed shirts of the Premier League and First Division clubs, among others, which was held on Sunday.
