Hamrun Spartans and Floriana managed to avoid a two-point deduction after paying the amounts due following a decision of the MFA Board of Control and Discipline.

The Spartans had to make a payment of €4,000 to Birkirkara for Terence Vella and another payment of €4,000 to Rupert Mangion who is now playing for Marsaxlokk.

Floriana, on the other hand, had to pay €20,000 to Birkirkara for the transfer of Thomas Paris and €7,920 to former player Aaron Brown.

The Greens therefore stay in third place in the Relegation Pool on 16 points, two behind Balzan and Qormi. Hamrun are fourth on 11, followed by Rabat on 9 and Melita on 7.
