Champions Birkirkara will be facing Rabat Ajax in the opening game from the BOV Premier League 2013/14. The draws were held on Friday during the MFA Awards 2013 – an event which was held at the MFCC, Ta’ Qali.
Runners-up and U*BET FA Trophy winners Hibernians were drawn to meet neighbours Tarxien Rainbows in their first game while Valletta will be facing Mosta. Newly-promoted Naxxar Lions and Vittoriosa Stars face Floriana and Balzan respectively. The other match for Day 1 which will be played between the 17th and 18th August is Sliema Wanderers vs Qormi.
