Sports agency Solo Football, led by 29-year old Angela Perez – reportedly, a relative of Real Madrid president Florentino Perez, takes over the management of First Division side Gudja United.
In a short statement on a newly-launched website www.gufc.jimdo.com, the management of Solo Football announced that the agency was entrusted with the club management with Tommaso Volpi appointed General Manager, assisted by Luca Bindi and Massimiliano Giannoni.
The news was reported on various Italian websites.
Tommaso Volpi, a former coach of Montevarchi, Viterbese, Flaminia Civita Castellana, Anagni, Alatri and Orvietana, was the coach of Cavese last season. Together with his partner Angela Perez, they were the owners of AC Sansovino.
Before AC Sansovino, Angela Perez was also involved in the management of Montevarchi.
This deal is expected to lead a number of Italian players to join the club who according to the agency will aim for promotion to the Premier League.
It is believed that Solo Football had been negotiating such a deal with one or more clubs before deciding to conclude with Gudja United.
