Aaron Agius of Balzan and Edmond Agius were handed a two-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off during the weekend’s matches.

Aaron Agius was also removed from captain until November 20, 2013.

Marko Potezica of Tarxien Rainbows who was sent off in the derby against Hibernians was banned for one match while Edward Herrera (Birkirkara) and Joel Sunnyboy Toe (Mosta) were suspended for one match as they did not have a valid medical certificate.

Valletta team-manager Gerald Ellul was banned for one match.

Aaron Agius is ruled out of the games against Rabat and Birkirkara, Edmond Agius misses the games against Hibernians and Floriana, Potezica is ruled out of the clash with Floriana, Edward Herrera misses the game against Sliema and Joel Toe the clash with Vittoriosa.
