One-match ban for three Premier League players

Three Premier League players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after being sent off during the weekend’s matches.

Jonathan Pearson (Hibernians), Kurt Drago (Naxxar) and Dylan Falzon (Rabat) are therefore ruled out of the next league games during the weekend 14/15 September.

Pearson and Falzon will miss the Hibs-Rabat clash while Drago will be unavailable for the game against Tarxien.

Vittoriosa Stars president Erskine Vella was banned for two matches.
