malta-denmark130906Andre Schembri and Clifford Gatt Baldacchino replaced the injured Gareth Sciberras and Jonathan Caruana in the 20-man squad which leaves Malta on Sunday, destination Copenhagen where Malta plays the final match from Group B of the 2014 FIFA World Cup at the Parken Stadium on Tuesday.

On Friday, Sciberras was retained on the bench together with Edward Herrera as both were not fully fit but this time, national coach Pietro Ghedin decided to leave the Birkirkara midfielder out of the squad as he would not be able to make it. forwards Andrew Cohen (Hibs), Terence Vella (Birkirkara), Michael Mifsud (Melbourne Heart – AUS).
