Alan Mifsud has been appointed as coach of First Division side Gudja United.

Earlier this week the club and Italian coach Guglielmo Ginocchi and his assistant Michael Baldacchino reached an amicable agreement to part ways.

In a statement, the club thanked Ginocchi and Baldacchino for the services rendered to the club.

Gudja are currently third from bottom in the BOV First Division on eight points from eight matches.
