Birkirkara striker Jhonnattan Benites de Conceicao is the BOV Player of the Month for January 2014. This award is undoubtedly attributed to his scoring frenzy in January. He struck five times during the month, including four in Birkirkara’s 7-1 win on Naxxar Lions.

The Brazilian forward is pivotal in Birkirkara’s outstanding performance in the BOV Premier League this season, that has led them to 13 straight wins and to the top of the BOV Premier League.

Like his team, Jhonnattan is having an outstanding season, landing the BOV Player of the Month award for the second time this season, the first awarded for his performances since November 2013. His knack for goal resulted in a tally of 14 until the end of January.

Mario Delia, Manager Personal Banking at Bank of Valletta’s Birkirkara Branch presented Jhonnattan with his second BOV Player of the Month trophy this football season. The Brazilian chose Dar Pirotta to benefit from the donation associated with this award.
