Santa Lucia dropped their first points as they were held in a goalless draw by Marsaxlokk in one of the six matches from the BOV Third Division on Sunday.

Another two matches ended in goalless draws as Kirkop United were held in a draw by Mtarfa while Ta’ Xbiex earned their first point in a draw with Mdina Knights.

Marsaskala vs Luqa St. Andrew’s also ended in a draw, a 1-1 draw. Jason Good put Luqa ahead on 35 minutes with Marsaskala veteran player-coach Vesko Petrovic equalising on the 75th.

Mgarr United registered their first win as they beat Kalkara 2-0 thanks to goals by Oscar Martin Aparicio on the 70th and another by Andre Magro in stoppage-time.

The clash between Attard and St. Venera Lightnings was abandoned nine minutes from time due to floodlight failure. Attard were leading 2-1 thanks to goal by Lydon Cilia on 21 minutes and Matthew Borg on 81 minutes for Attard, Ryan Bezzina on 47 minutes for St. Venera.
