Leaders Nadur Youngsters extended their unbeaten run in the Melita First Division in Gozo as they defeated Oratory Youths 2-0 thanks to a goal by Claudio Antunes just before half-time and Joseph Vella ten minutes from time.
Therefore they maintain a three-point lead over Xewkija Tigers who beat SK Victoria Wanderers 4-0 last week thanks to four second-half goals courtesy of Dene Shields on the 56th, Kenneth Mercieca on the 61st, John Camilleri on the 91st and Daniel Bogdanovic on the 93rd.
St. Lawrence Spurs leapfrog the Wanderers after beating Sannat Lions 3-0. William Barbosa converted a penalty on the 17th and three minutes later, the Spurs doubled the score thanks to an own goal. Mambaye Boye sealed the issue with a third goal just before half-time.
Kercem Ajax still enjoy third place but Victoria Hotspurs move to just three points behind them after beating them 3-0 last week thanks to a penalty by Nikola Vasilic on the 23rd, Antoine Camilleri on the 69th and Rodney Buttigieg on the 90th.

After being held in a goalless draw by Xaghra United last week, Munxar Falcons returned to winning ways as they beat Zebbug Rovers 2-1. Patrick Falzon put them ahead, Samuel Muscat levelled matters for Zebbug but Orlando Atzori notched the winner.
In another match last week, Zebbug Rovers and Gharb Rangers shared the spoils in a 1-1 draw with goals by Manwel Cordina for Zebbug and Justin Azzopardi for Gharb.
