Gudja United brought Fgura United’s positive run to an end as they came back from two goals down to beat them 3-2 in a clash from the BOV First Division on Monday. A win which enables Gudja to move to just two points behind third-placed Fgura and one behind Melita.
Fgura seemed heading towards a comfortable win as they went two goals ahead thanks to Josef Dalli on the 17th and Philip Chircop on the 37th. However three minutes from half-time, Angelo Catania pulled one back and the same player equalised nine minutes in the second half. Peter Paul Sammut notched the winner for Gudja on the 74th.
