Four Premier League players suspended

Valletta striker Federico Matias Falcone was banned for two matches while another three players were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner following the last round of matches from the BOV Premier League.

Armando Tarlaziz Vieira dos Santos (Naxxar), Zoran Levnajic (Pembroke) and Mark Scerri (Sliema) were banned for one match.

Falcone is ruled out of the games against Pembroke and St. Andrews. Levnajic also misses the game between Valletta and Pembroke. Mandinho will serve the ban against Qormi while Scerri is ruled out of the clash with Balzan.

Meanwhile Floriana president Riccardo Gaucci and kit-manager Peter Agius and Pembroke Athleta physiotherapist Cedric Sciberras were banned for one match.

In Division 1, Jean Pierre Attard (Melita), was banned for three matches while Clayton Giordimaina (Lija) and Ryan Zammit (San Gwann) were suspended for one game. Lija coach Brian Spiteri and Rabat coach Joe Falzon were both handed two-match bans.

In Division 2, Daniel Zammit (Zurrieq) was banned for four matches, Kane Micallef (Swieqi) for three and Bydasser Sammut (Qrendi) and Roderick Zammit (Zurrieq) for two matches. Isaac Sammut (Mellieha), Samuel Buhagiar (Zabbar), Eman Camilleri (Zejtun) and Marko Dimitrijevic (Zurrieq) were suspended for one game. Zurrieq official Juian Galea was banned for three months.

Neil Scerri (Luqa), Shawn D’Amato (Santa Lucia) and Kirsten Pulis (Xghajra) were all banned for one match in Division 3.
