Leaders Ghajnsielem came back from one goal down to beat SK Victoria Wanderers in a match from the Gozo Football League First Division on Sunday.
Predrag Djordevic put the Wanderers ahead five minutes from the end of the first half but ten minutes in the second half, Milos Stojanovic levelled matters and a brace by Shaun Bajada on the 68th and 84th gave Ghajnsielem the three points.
In another match, St. Laurence Spurs held Victoria Hotspurs in a 2-2 draw. James Tabone on the 3rd and Jonathan Bajada on the 33rd put Victoria Hotspurs two goals ahead but Jason Theuma pulled one back on 64 minutes and a Louis Buttigieg penalty levelled matters.
Meanwhile in the Gozo Football League Second Division, Qala Saints defeated Zebbug Rovers 2-1. Luke Portelli and Oleg Pogukay put Qala two goals ahead with Mathion Formosa scoring a consolation goal for the Rovers.
In another match, a goal by Paul Anthony Attard gave Gharb Rangers a narrow win over Munxar Falcons.
