Three-year ban for St. George’s player

Josef Dalli of St. George’s was handed a three-year ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner after assaulting referee Shaun Calleja during a match from the BOV Second Division.

In the BOV Premier League, Samba Tounkara (Gzira) was suspended for three matches while Moises Avila Perez (Gzira), Antonio Terracciano and Augusto Rene Caseres (Senglea) were handed a one-match ban.
