Birkirkara girls to face teams from Albania, Ireland and Lithuania in UEFA Women’s Champions League

Birkirkara were drawn with hosts Gintra Universitetas of Lithuania, Vllaznia of Albania and Wexford Youths of Ireland in Group 10 of the UEFA Women’s Champions League qualifying round. The draws were held in Nyon on Friday.

The mini-tournament will be played between August 7 and 13.

A record 62 teams from 50 associations have entered the 2019/20 UEFA Women’s Champions League and 40 of them were involved in the qualifying round.

Group winners progress to join 22 teams given byes to the round of 32.
